I had a boombox when I was young. Actually, I had a couple. I remember the first one was just a single tape joint. Many-a-tape were made recording songs off of the radio (long before they only played the same 10 songs all day, every day). The next boombox was the dual-cassette jump-off which let us ‘dub’ (record) tapes for our friends. At the time, this was like the greatest innovation ever.
